The "Ave Maria", reputed to be composed by Caccini, is a calm and melodious tune, but I have long thought it should fit Rock'n'Roll music. Ordered Jun Yamamoto to prepare the backing, I realized the other Maria who likes dancing. Too wacky? I don't think so because the tune should be composed in the 20th century actually.
